I haven’t felt this confident and happy in a long time. Ever since Jeremy died I’ve felt lost and out of control of my whole life. This trip came at exactly the right point in my life. I’m realizing what opportunities I have, how wonderful people can be (and how shitty, which is just as valuable), and that I CAN make something of myself and WILL.

Jeremy would be so proud of me, and that’s all I’ve ever wanted. Getting closer to the life I want, getting closer to the love I want, getting closer to true happiness.
